Antonio Tellez (Known as Tino) was killed in action Easter morning, 25 March, 1951..Tino was wounded after the first combat jump, spent time in a hospital and arrived back to Co. C, 187th Airborne RCT just in time for the second jump on Munsan-ni.
Trooper Tino received his second purple heart while attacking in dug in a Chinese hillside. It was reported that Tino got hit with a clean shot and he died instantly.
Trooper Tino is in the thoughts of every Trooper that made it back home on days when Troopers give thanks for making home.
Antonio Telez will always be known as "Tino" to his brothers of the 187th AB Company "C"
